Airport Arrivals

If you are arriving at Bengaluru International Airport, you have several options to reach NIMHANS Convention Centre:

  • Taxi or Ride-Sharing

  • Train + Metro + Last Mile

    Take a train from KIA Railway Station (dedicated railway station for the Airport) to KSR Railway Station. Then hop on a metro to South End Circle metro station, which is closest to NIMHANS Convention Centre.

  • Bus

    Airport Vayu Vajra bus service is run by Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation which connects the airport to the city. There are multiple bus routes, you can check them here.

    There are a variety of routes plying in this service, do refer these if you have a pit-stop or two to make. In order to reach NIMHANS, the best ones are:

  • KIA-5D, get off at Jayanagar bus stand and NIMHANS is a few blocks away.

  • KIA-7 to Kormangala Water Tank which is 8 mins away from NIMHANS.

Railway Station Arrivals

If you are arriving at the Bengaluru City Railway Station, follow these options to get to NIMHANS Convention Centre:

  • Taxi or Ride-Sharing: Taxis and ride-sharing services are available outside the railway station. It is advisable to book a prepaid taxi or use a reputable ride-sharing service for a comfortable and convenient journey.
  • Public Transportation: You can also take a bus or the metro from the railway station to reach NIMHANS Convention Centre. The nearest metro station to the convention centre is South End Circle.
  • Since metro is pretty close to the railway station, with a direct metro one can get pretty close to the conference venue, this is a less hectic way to travel and reccommended for non-localites who may find it difficult to navigate the bus routes.

Bus Station Arrivals

For those arriving at the KSRTC Majestic Terminal, here are the transportation options to reach NIMHANS Convention Centre:

  • Taxi or Ride-Sharing: Taxis and ride-sharing services are available at the bus station. You can hire a taxi or book a ride-sharing service to reach NIMHANS Convention Centre directly.
  • Public Transportation: Metro is again one of the best and most predictable ways to travel. The metro station is just a street crossing away from the bus terminal, and you can disembark at South End Circle for NIMHANS.

Subway Arrivals

If you are arriving via the Bengaluru Metro, follow these directions to reach NIMHANS Convention Centre:

  • Disembark at South End Circle.
  • From the metro station, you can either walk or take a short taxi ride to reach NIMHANS Convention Centre.

  • For Metro Arrivals, South End Circle and Lal Bagh are best placed.
