Open Source and design

Open Source and Design is a talk that explores the intersection between the open source movement and the design industry. In recent years, the open-source community has become an increasingly important player in the world of design, with designers and developers collaborating to create innovative products and technologies. This talk will delve into the benefits and challenges of working in an open-source environment, as well as the role of design in creating inclusive and accessible products. Whether you're a designer, developer, or simply interested in the world of open source, this talk will provide valuable insights into this rapidly evolving field.

I will also talk about the various open-source programs (like GSoC, Outreachy etc) which do have design tracks or projects, so even students who do not code can participate in such programs.
