Pro-privacy mobile operating system

The primary objective of this talk is to raise awareness about the importance of data privacy and educate attendees about the /e/os operating system as a privacy-focused alternative to mainstream mobile platforms. We aim to:

  1. Explore Data Privacy Concerns: Discuss the current state of data privacy in the digital world, highlighting the risks associated with using proprietary mobile operating systems.
  2. Introduce /e/os: Provide an overview of the /e/os project, its mission, and how it addresses data privacy concerns through features like data encryption, app permissions, and degoogling.
  3. Highlight Privacy-focused Features: Showcase the privacy-centric features of /e/os, such as the ability to control data access, block tracking, and avoid vendor lock-in.
  4. Discuss Privacy Best Practices: Share practical tips and best practices for protecting personal data on mobile devices, including recommendations for secure app usage, browsing habits, and device settings.
  5. Empower Users: Encourage attendees to take charge of their data privacy by considering alternatives like /e/os and making informed choices regarding their digital ecosystem.
  6. Q&A Session: Engage attendees in a question-and-answer session to address their concerns, clarify concepts, and provide further insights.
