Terminating the digital trail
With the ever-increasing accessibility of the internet and computers in the country (ie. post jio era), more and more people are falling prey to big tech, without even noticing it.
For a few amongst us, web browsers and google are synonymous.
To educate and bring more awareness amongst the general audience, it has become my social responsibility to share and promote more of the best practices on the internet and also make a switch to FOSS.
In this session, I would like to bring the general audience's attention towards the malpractices performed by big tech companies that are exploiting the privacy of billions of people around the world.
They will be taken through a history of privacy and security, their rights, the best practices for staying on the web and alternative means to switch to privacy-respecting alternatives.
The goal of this session would be to educate the people and make them forefront who would reduce the exploitation of mass user data collection.
