Self-Hosting 101 - Reasons to self-host and nifty tools

In this talk, we will do a quick run through compelling reasons to self-host -- data privacy, career, savings, ease of deployment -- and some nifty tools that help with it. Some of these tools will be age-old Linux commands that aren't advertised, and some will be relatively newer tools that I've found to work very well. I'll demonstrate how they make self hosting easy. For example: scp, rsync, Makefile, Caddy, supervisor, docker-compose.
