eSim and Arduino on Cloud

eSim and Arduino on Cloud are two platforms developed at IIT Bombay for building electronic and Arduino circuitry. The whole platform is released in open source license, GPL v3. It allows the learners to drag-and-drop components onto the schematic, connect them using wires to form a circuit and simulate to see the results. It is hosted at simulation.iitbx.in. Learners can experiment with the circuits here before moving to the actual hardware. Since it is browser-based, a learner can work on any browser and any operating system without having to install additional software.

In this talk, we will demonstrate the working of both these platforms.

A. Arduino on Cloud: This has the facility to handle various types of simulation like visual-based, sound-based, sensor-based, and mechanical movement, etc.

B. eSim on Cloud: This facilitates the user to simulate major analog circuits. The types of simulations supported are: DC solver, DC Sweep, Transient Analysis, AC Analysis, etc.

The architecture and the high-level view of the internal working of the platform will also be highlighted.
