Open Source Journey: Beginner to GSoC student
In this talk, I will share my experience as a Google Summer of Code student and how it has helped me in my journey of becoming an open-source contributor. I will discuss how I got involved with open-source projects, what motivated me to contribute, and how I chose the projects I worked on.
I will also share how I have used open-source tools in my own projects and the benefits of doing so. I will touch upon the importance of community support, collaboration, and how these are key to building sustainable open-source projects.
Through my personal experiences, I hope to inspire others to get involved in open-source development and highlight the significant impact that it can have on an individual's career. I will conclude the talk by providing tips on how to get started with open-source development and share some tips that can help beginners get started.
Overall, this talk will provide insights into the world of open-source and demonstrate the opportunities available to individuals looking to contribute to this growing community.
