This is an unusual topic, but it's always new and fun for most people!

Synopsis:

We can leverage the power of React, Chromium, Puppeteer and FFmpeg (all OSS projects) to write our own videos using Typescript. People typically reach out to Video Editing tools like Premiere Pro/Final Cut for this, but we will demonstrate the basics of how videos can be "coded", explore a few tools (Remotion, Scap) that make this easier and finally go over some cool demos I have built at my company. I have worked on a number of open source projects related to videos and media (most notably scap, rustymotion), and am very comfortable with the space.
